“How sweet it was again in Landfall House !”
What joy and happiness to return for the third time in Kinsale and back to Margo and Donie Landfall house! The location of this B & B is amazing, very quiet, just outside Kinsale, ten minutes walk from the city center. We like it that much, it is very comfortable and cozy. Guests are just extraordinary, we enjoyed talking and laughing with them. They will be always good advice if you are looking for a restaurant or a place to visit in the area, do not hesitate to ask for help. Landfall House is undoubtedly the best quality / price ratio in this place, you will not regret it!

“Great View and Wonderful Hosts”
Donnie & Margo provided a warm & cheerful greeting on arrival and maintained a welcoming environment with pleasant conversations during our stay. Margo was quick to come to our aid when the rental car locked us out. She called the rental agency and stayed with us till the problem was resolved. Breakfast was very good and served in a delightful dining area. The house was clean and quiet and well appointed. Our room was spacious and the bathroom very nice with a good shower. The angled streets in Kinsale village can be a bit confusing to navigate despite its small size but the panoramic view of the harbor from our room was worth the effort to get there. Overall, we enjoyed a very nice stay at Landfall House.

“Owners have personality plus!”
We enjoyed our stay at Landfall, the location is a bit away from the town and so walking was not really an option. We were greeted warmly and had great, enthusiastic interactions with our hosts every time we chatted with them or asked for asistance. Breakfast was great and the room was comfortable.
“A great place to stay”
Margo and Donie were wonderful hosts for our two night stay. Our room was perfect with a stunning view. The house is beautiful and in a great location for easy access to town. Margo had great dinner recommendations and Donie has a great sense of humor all adding up to a great stay!

“Great hosts, great rooms!”
Donny and Margo are great hosts and very helpful with local sightseeing advice. Margo is also an excellent cook! Breakfast was a treat! The location was initially a challenge but once the GPS got sorted we found it no problems. The rooms are quiet (unless people stand and talk outside your door) and very comfortable, there is also practically no road noise. The ensuites are not huge but big enough for all the essentials. Bedrooms are upstairs so make sure you are able to carry your own luggage. The shops and restaurants are a downhill walk away. They close in the winter – so they told us so by the time you read this you may need to wait to next year. But it is worth the wait, Kinsale is picture perfect.

“Great B&B!”
My husband and I spent two nights at the Landfall House B&B in Kinsale. Tony and Margo, the owners, are charming. Breakfast was always good and Tony always made sure that everyone knew each other and encouraged a lot of conversation. The room was a little small due to the sloped ceiling in our room, but it was decorated very well and was extremely clean. The biggest downside is that their wi-fi connection didn’t always work but that turned out to be a blessing — I was able to “disconnect” from everything and enjoy our vacation.

“The perfect hosts”
My wife and I recently stayed at Landfall House in Kinsale. Our hosts, Margot and Donnie were charming and very accommodating to our requests. Our room had a lovely view of the town and the sea and was very comfortable. Margot and Donnie made us feel right at home upon our arrival and prepared a lovely Irish breakfast the next morning. Donnie made me a bowl of porridge with his secret ingredient of Bailey’s which was absolutely delicious. I recommend for anyone to stay here and get a taste of true Irish hospitality.

“Felt like part of the family”
We recently spent 4 nights at the Landfall House B&B and it was probably the best B&B experience we have ever had. Margo and Donie certainly go the extra mile to make you feel that you are family. Their home is very well kept, and the rooms are modern and very comfortable. The breakfast choices were always filling and tasty. It is located on a hill overlooking Kinsale, providing beautiful views of the town and harbor. It is a 2 minute drive down the hill to a free car park right at the edge the town center. We don’t believe that you will find a better B&B experience. We felt sad the morning that we departed. If we have the opportunity to visit Kinsale again, we would absolutely stay here.

“The Landfall House is the only place to stay in Kinsale!”
Great location, great views, great rooms, great hosts! We loved it! Up the hill from town- we walked it every time with no problems (even after a large meal and a couple of pints!). Margo and Donie made us feel right at home.

“Hospitality above and beyond”
This is a beautiful B&B with crisp and cozy decor. The hosts are beyond welcoming. It was like the took us in like family. They had suggestions for restaurants and parking in town. They even let us use their lounge after checkout when my husband had some last-minute work he had to do on the computer. It’s a bit too far out of town to walk, but the drive is less than 5 minutes.
